Env
Update the daemon's extra environment layer. Every process, PTY, and session created after this call inherits the change — including the git the daemon runs for /git/*; running processes and already-running session kernels are untouched. unset removes only values previously pushed into that extra layer. Daemon-owned names refused on /rlp/secrets are also refused here, each KEY=VALUE entry is capped at 128 KiB, the total env payload is capped at 1 MiB, Windows additionally refuses updates whose inherited environment plus projected pushed layer would exceed the 32,767 UTF-16-unit CreateProcessW block limit, and macOS refuses updates that would grow the inherited environment plus projected pushed layer past half of ARG_MAX, which argv and the environment share (512 KiB of 1 MiB, counting 8 bytes per variable).
